Walgreens freeHere is our list of Walgreens deals that are free or nearly free in the weekly ad starting 5/24. If you want to check out the full weekly ad and coupon matchups for the week of 5/24 – 5/30 at Walgreens, go here. If you are shopping later in the week, I strongly advise that you check out our Walgreens Category to see if there’s anything new since we published the weekly ad matchups and this list.

Don’t forget that Walgreens now allows you to cash in points on smaller totals. See the breakdown below. Also, DO NOT redeem points if you plan on earning points on a transaction. If you do that, you will not earn the new points.

1,000 Points = $1
2,000 Points = $2
3,000 Points = $3
5,000 Points = $5
10,000 Points = $10
18,000 Points = $20
30,000 Points = $35
40,000 Points = $50

Also note that Walgreens changed their coupon policy in late May 2014. There are quite a few changes and you can read more about them here.

  1. Check51 is becoming a sketchy place now. All the sudden they had 0 remaining on all their Glade products at the EXACT same time….Hum…I check it early in the day and 2 of them said “not many left” while the others were fine. I checked back in about hour and ALL of them said 0 remaining…

    • Deborah says:

At least you see them and have the option to redeem them. I have been using the app since the very beginning and the Glade rewards have never been available to me as well as others that most people get.

  2. Kristine says:

Dumb question, but the glade plug in alternating fragrance is considered an automatic spray kit? Is it not a plug in?

    • Steve Pinski says:

I think that’s a good question. I think it is a plug-in that automatically sprays the fragrance. Or perhaps it doesn’t “spray” at all, but only warms. I just don’t have the answer.

  3. Kristine says:

So that coupon will work for that plug-in, you think?

  4. Natalia says:

Playtex cup deal didn’t work for me. I gave $2 manufacturer coupon and than $2 from coupon book and it didn’t scan. Manager said there was no option to put in manually. Should I get a filler?

    • Monica Bragg says:

A filler shouldn’t matter in this case because it is a Store Coupon and they do not count towards your total. Once the Walgreens coupon is scanned it should automatically reduce to the price of the item after the manufacturer coupon.

      • Yes you needed a filler… even for that 1 penny it will not go through until it is covered

    • Yes you needed a filler… even for that 1 penny it will not go through until it is covered

(sorry for the double comment idk how this site works but I wanted to help you get the correct info)

  5. I’ve searched all over Walgreens.com to find the link for the 10 points for each dollar but have not been able to find it. Can anyone tell me how to get there?
