You heard it here first! Last week I speculated on upcoming changes to Lowes Foods foods coupon policy! Today I go over to their policy page and notice it has been updated! They haven’t even posted about the change on their social media sites yet!
All language that referred to “dollars off the entire order” has been removed! For those of you just tuning in their coupon policy used to state this:
- We gladly accept local supermarket or supercenter competitor’s circular coupons or direct mail coupons for dollars off the entire order.
That language is gone! They clarified who they classify as competitors. And they added language that states:
- We will award competitor’s coupon savings up to the retail or sale price of the coupon item. No cash back will be awarded.
So, while unlike Publix, we won’t be able to get many moneymakers from this change. Free is still pretty darn good! Unfortunately, the will not take printable competitor coupons, so we’ll have to have copies of the circulars. This actually adds the possibility for some great deals on gift card coupons along with Target coupons that appear in ads/inserts.
I’m going to see what awesome deals I can find by matching these up shortly!
I’m thoroughly excited! What do you think?Extreme Couponing Tip: You can usually get two prints of most internet coupons. To find them in the easiest possible way, use our preclipped links that take you right to the coupon. Then come back and click the same link to get your 2nd print. This will save you the time spent searching for the coupon.
