Walgreens freeHere is our list of Walgreens deals that are free or nearly free in the weekly ad starting 4/5. If you want to check out the full weekly ad and coupon matchups for the week of 4/5 – 4/11 at Walgreens, go here. If you are shopping later in the week, I strongly advise that you check out our Walgreens Category to see if there’s anything new since we published the weekly ad matchups and this list.

Don’t forget that Walgreens now allows you to cash in points on smaller totals. See the breakdown below. Also, DO NOT redeem points if you plan on earning points on a transaction. If you do that, you will not earn the new points.

1,000 Points = $1
2,000 Points = $2
3,000 Points = $3
5,000 Points = $5
10,000 Points = $10
18,000 Points = $20
30,000 Points = $35
40,000 Points = $50

Also note that Walgreens changed their coupon policy in late May 2014. There are quite a few changes and you can read more about them here.

Extreme Couponing Tip: You can usually get two prints of most internet coupons. To find them in the easiest possible way, use our preclipped links that take you right to the coupon. Then come back and click the same link to get your 2nd print. This will save you the time spent searching for the coupon.

  1. Can’t use the coupon for the reynolds foil… It says “off ONE (1) package of Reynolds Wrap® Foil
(35 sq ft or larger, excluding Wrappers™ foil sheets and Reynolds Wrap® Heavy Duty non-Stick Foil)”.

    • Steve Pinski says:

Well that sucks! I will delete it from the list. Thanks for letting me know about the size restriction.

      • I got the Banana Boat deal this morning and they don’t give you 4000 Balance Rewards points in addition to the $6.99 price. They give you 4000 points to get your price down to $6.99. I bought 2 Banana Boat Sunscreen, used two $2/1 coupons and didn’t get the Balance Rewards points. In the Walgreens ad you will see that it doesn’t say 4000 pts = $4 reward. I think that’s unfair advertising!!

        • Steve Pinski says:

Wow, that was sneaky of them if that’s how it is working. If I make it up to Walgreens I will test it out.

  2. Turns out there are 2 concurrent deals on sunblock right now. For the Banana Boat, my store only has the sport kind and men kind marked as the weekly sale. All of those were 6.99 and then your 4k points on 2. Until April 25th (ish), the more expensive types of Hawaiian Tropic & Banana Boat have the same deal, buy 2 get 4k points. They should have different colored tags. Yellow = monthly, Blue = weekly

  3. No go on the Neutrogena wipes. The (very rude) cashier at my store indicated that the “skin care” portion of the coupon is only good on the eye make up remover!

  4. Regarding the Purex crystals, it was my understanding of their policy that you could use $3.00/2 on bogo items, meaning using TWO coupons (because u have 4 items) would be permitted. Am I misunderstanding the coupon pollcy?
