ht 4-15So, I headed out tonight for my first trip to Harris Teeter for super doubles.  Unfortunately, for the two Catalina deals I wanted to test, the items I needed were sold out.  At least one Checkout51 deal had hoped to do had also expired.  I went in with a couple of backup deals though, so I could at least get close to the 20 double coupon limit.  (There are always things that are sold out.)  This isn’t quite as high a percentage as my posts usually are, but there were two things that held me back.  The lack of coffee in our current stockpile meant I needed to grab some while I could find a deal.  Also, my wife likes to freeze the light greek yogurt and eat it like ice cream.  I could have gotten a slightly bettter deal on Yoplait, but the Dannon is her favorite and I figured it was worth it to treat her after the hectic past couple weeks we had, recently.

  1. Sounds like fun!

Sometimes when you purchase USEFUL items like food, you do not save

It was a fun trip and I know I won’t always save 100%, but it’s fun to try. 😉 The apartment we’re living in temporarily is five minutes from Harris Teeter, so that was one of the quickest SD trips I’ve ever done too! 🙂
