  1. Yay!! I’ve been wanting some more of these. I opened a box I had the other day and found them to be stale. 🙁

  2. cvs in Boynton beach Florida…producing $3 EB for each box but priced high at 4.49@.
I used $1/2 cereal cvs coupon and $1/3 mf coupon. I had a 25% coupon but cashier said I was not able to use because they were on sale. sale? shelf price @4.49….she said if an item produces EB it is considered a sale. REALLY? is this new?……83 for a box of cereal not bad but free would have been better!!!

She was wrong, but here’s a suggestion for next time you’re going to have that situation. Buy something tiny that is regular price – perhaps a single travel size item. Make sure it is in the transaction and the register will deduct for the other regular priced items that produce ECBs, even if she thinks they shouldn’t.

    • Actually, the cashier was right because the Cheerios and Honey Nut Cheerios are ringing up as “sale” priced at their regular price (scan them at the red machine and you will see it is coded as a sale price) So the register wouldn’t have applied the 25% off in this case anyway. You usually CAN use them on ecb producing deals, but if the item is programmed as a “sale” price (even if that sale price is the items typical selling price), the % off won’t work.

  3. Just went to CVS, Bought 4 Cheerio’s @ 3.75, used 2 BOGO Coupons ($4.00 max value) and $1 ECB total OOP $6.00 + tax got $12.00 ECB back, Thanks for this post!!

  4. Wow………..great deal!!

  5. i just did this deal at our CVS. the Honey Nut and regular Cheerios are apparently 2 separate deals. i bought the first box and got my first $3 EB back and was able to buy 3 more boxes, each one giving me the $3 EB. according to the receipt, there are more left. so im printing more mfr coupons and going back tomorrow.. =)

  6. Thanks Steve! I saw your email from work this afternoon and remembered my lucky charms had a bogo free coupon on the back and luckily my husband never throws away boxes if there is still a little left…Our CVS had the single boxes for $4.49 coupon maxed value at $4, so I paid 4.98 for 2 boxes and got $6 ECB and should get the 50 cents Savingstar too!

  7. I was able to take advantage of this deal in Jacksonville, FL, but the cereal price was higher. Each 12.25 oz. box was priced at $4.69. I used 3 of the .50 off 1 box manufacturer coupons. I did receive $3 for each box. So each box ended up being $1.19. Not as good as I’d hoped, but good timing as we were on the lookout for more (somewhat healthy) cereal for the kids.

    Thanks Couponaholics!

  8. I forgot to mention – all the Easter stuff is 75% off now! The 11.4 oz. bags of Easter colored M&M’s ended up being 1.05 each. I didn’t have any coupons for M&M’s, but now would be a good time to use them. On the other hand, $1 for those bags is still a good price. And there’s quite a bit of other Easter items/candy as well. I ended up buying a new Ninja Turtle basket for $5 (down from $20) as our 3 yr old broke his basket this year. 🙂

      Eric
There is a BOGO coupon in the RP for M&M from Sundays paper
These are on Sale next week at Wags on “crunchy” only M&Ms
      FREE after RR.
Use the BOGO coupon to pick up a free bag of the kind that your kids actually like.

  9. i’ve heard they stop giving ecb from today ? can somebody confirm ? i don’t wanna try and not receive any ecb and return items ! TIA

  10. I will go today. Has anyone got the ect on the Cheerios today 4/15 ???

  11. I did Mike and Diana…in Michigan…about 10 am this morning…hope it works for you, too!

  12. Went this morning and No ECB 🙁

  13. I picked up the smaller box of Cheerios and Lucky Charms today 4/15 at around 11am and got $3 ECB. I used the B1G1 coupon from previous cereal box and also purchased milk. I’m in Louisiana.

  14. I’m so thrilled with this deal! I went to my fave CVS here in Knoxville, TN. Using this deal I bought three boxes of Cheerios, got my $9 EB back and spent a total of .79 on three boxes of Cheerios. Actually got the last three boxes the stock man had. (He was kind enough to go into the back to get them for me!) Doesn’t get better than that. Absolutely love this site, the deals and the ways they help us find and get the deals!
