cvs-042015Today’s CVS trip ended up a lot less exciting than planned. Luckily, there were exactly two Irish Spring Signature Bar Soap packs left on the shelf, but no small Jergens or Biore products to be found. There were not enough L’Oreal 360 Scrubs to do a full deal either. I did, however, find a ton of 90% off Easter Clearance. Since most of it was candy that I didn’t need to bring into my house, I picked up one $0.09 Snickers Egg and passed on the rest of it. As you can see, the Snickers Egg didn’t make it all the way home 😉

Here’s my rather simple transaction, along with the coupons used:

ONE SNICKERS EGG, on clearance $0.09 (regular price $0.99)
No coupons used
NET PRICE: $0.09

TWO IRISH SPRING SIGNATURE BAR SOAP 3 CT, on sale 2/$4 (regular price $6.49)
***This inclusion was not tagged at my store, but I price checked it at the Red Coupon Machine and the 2/$4 price came up on the screen
Get $2 Extra Bucks when you buy two Irish Spring Bar Soap 3-packs
Used two $2/1 Irish Spring Signature Bar Soap coupons, 4/12 SS newspaper insert

Don’t have the $2/1 newspaper coupons for Irish Spring? Use the $1.50/1 Irish Spring Signature Bar Soap or Body Wash or Irish Spring Gear Body Wash printable coupons (preclipped) and you can still score a $1 MONEYMAKER!

Total Retail Value of All Merchandise: $13.97

Extreme Couponing Tip: You can usually get two prints of most internet coupons. To find them in the easiest possible way, use our preclipped links that take you right to the coupon. Then come back and click the same link to get your 2nd print. This will save you the time spent searching for the coupon.

  1. Nice and simple but still a moneymaking deal. Love those simple deals because it’s almost impossible to have something not go as planned. My CVS had one pack of the soap left on the shelf. I decided to ask my fav. cashier if they had any more. He went in the back and came out with 6 and asked how many I needed, LOL. Just glad I asked him to check.

For sure. Love the easy ones and to be honest, I wasn’t really that peeved that I missed out on the other deals. I was just going to give all that stuff to my roommate anyways. I prefer when I am the one who gets the “prizes.”

  2. Our CVS doesn’t have this deal going on. and I can’t seem to find it online like I did the other day. Its like they took it down 🙁

It is not tagged for the Signature Bar Soap 3 ct. Price check them at the Red Coupon Machine. If the price says 2/$4 at the machine, then it is included.

  3. Signature Bar Soap no longer 2/$4. Same store I bought soap on Sunday for that price is now $6.27 each.
