I am so very sorry to hear about the fire! But at the same time, I am extremely happy to hear everyone/critters are physically ok! Thank you for caring and taking time out of your hectic/stressful life at this time, to give us ideas for deals!! Bless you! Good luck to you and your family!

    • Wayland P says:

Thank you! And it felt good to add a bit of nomalicy back to my life and do some shopping after all the things we had to get together in the past week.

  3. thank God everyone is ok.

  4. I am glad everyone is fine, having a fire is very stressful. Keep your chin up, you will get back home. 🙂

  5. So sorry to hear about your house Wayland…….but SOOOOOOOOO happy that everyone made it out safe. They are what truly matters…….the rest, is just “STUFF” 🙂

    • Wayland P says:

That amuses me, because my wife has been saying that a lot, that we got what matters most and the rest is just stuff. We’re having a little bit of a harder time convincing the kiddos of that, but they will come around.

  6. Very sorry to hear about your house. I’m glad that everyone and all the critters made it out safely. I want to thank you for taking some time to post your deals today. I had no idea you could get overage at CVS to use on the rest of your purchase. Good luck with rebuilding your stockpile. Before you know it, you’ll be renting a storage unit to keep your supply of stuff in.

    • Wayland P says:

On the overage, it varies a lot from store to store on how they handle it, although, I have had less problems when I hand the CVS coupons over last.

As for the posting, it’s great just to do some normal things amid the chaos. And when we got the apartment, we made sure to get an optional garage as well, to give us some extra storage. 😉

  7. Thankfully you and your family made it out alright, along with your pets…….everything else can be replaced all in time, stay strong & keep your chin up! Will keep you & the rest of your family in my prayers!

    • Wayland P says:

Thank you! We’re trying to keep looking at the positive. For example, the front window had somehow ended up cracked, I kept meaning to get around to fix it. It will be fixed when we move back in! 🙂

Sending best wishes to all. Delighted to hear everyone ok (including the critters).

  9. So Sorry to hear about your house fire. Glad everyone is safe! Just wanted to say I bought a 16 pk of duracell batteries at CVS for 14.99. You will get a 5.00 ecb wyb 15.00 of batteries. I only had a measly little .50 cent off manf. coupon, but i also had a 4.00 off 10 CVS red box coupon, and I received a 25 percent off coupon in the mail, and was allowed to use it here. So with the 25 percent off it took off 4.45, so i paid 6.00 plus tax and got my 5.00 ecb. Batteries are so expensive, so a 16 pk of duracell batteries for 1.00 plus works for me. 🙂
