  1. Steve, I am not sure about this but on last sunday’s paper there was a $1.00 off Pert Plus shampoo. On the black friday ad they have the same shampoo for $0.99 . My question is this. Every time I buy items that are 0.99 cents and I give a 1.00 coupon, the register wont let me use them. This is my case with the wet and wild 99 cents enamels. I buy two and give two coupons but the register would only let me use one coupon. Ive heard something about telling them to adjust down the value of the coupon, but i dont know if they would do that.

    • Monica Bragg says:

Yes, they would either need to adjust the coupon down or adjust the price of the item up to $1. It is easier at my store if they just adjust the price up by the penny and then scan the coupon.

    • if you use a filler it will take the coupon.

  2. I understand that buying the same item in one transaction would not produce another register reward but in the case of the free Reach toothbrushes; one is a two pack and other is a single, could that be purchased together since they are not exactly the same and would each produce a RR?

    Thanks in advance.
