  1. couponklutz says:

Is anyone starting to have issues with their local stores and not allowing the overage? 2 of my local stores are saying since it say “may be” they are not obligated to allow it and it is the stores choice.

    • Yes they wouldn’t let me get 2 cents overage on the Blk Flag deal. I think that if you get over 40 items (including your coupons) the computer will prompt a supervisor and they can pretty much decidewhat they want

    • Not only is the store closest to me having issues with overage, but now they are even picky about the picture and the wording. For example, I couldn’t use this coupon at either of the two closest to me because the bottles (as pictures on coupon) don’t have the word ‘gourmet’ on them and I can’t buy the item pictured here in Couponaholics because it doesn’t match the item pictured on the coupon. Yet I take it to Winco’s and they had no problem with them. It’s hit or miss now at mine. :(

  2. Shoot! No reset for me.

  3. Walmart has never allowed me an overage… only what the actual price of item is.

    • Steve Pinski says:

Your store doesn’t care what it says in their coupon policy?

      • My store rolls out the fine print ‘at the Managers discretion’ to get around the inconsistency of the policy. So now if I think I might have a problem with a coupon, I go to customer service, ask for a manager and get clarification of the use of the coupon before shopping. So far this has worked for me but only just started doing this. :)
