I can proudly say that I have NEVER stepped inside a Walmart and I’ve lived in the US for 10 years ! While in grad school i did not have a car and the closest store was a Walmart, but I would take the bus and walk in the freezing Illinois winter to the next town to the local grocery store.
Those were my single/ no kid / 40 pounds lighter/ pre coupon days, but some things don’t change, no shopping at Walmart.
