Wags-5-off-20There are multiple reports that the Walgreens Register Rewards machine is spitting out $5 off $20 coupons for some folks. You may want to head over there and make a small purchase today to see if you get this coupon at checkout. If so, there are plenty of easy moneymakers to be had. Here is a deal idea I came up with rather quickly, but there are tons of possible scenarios:

BUY ONE AZO CRANBERRRY 100 CT, on sale $9.99
Get $10 Register Rewards when you buy Culturelle Probiotic
Get $10 Register Rewards when you buy AZO Cranberry 100 ct
Use one $5 off $20 Walgreens coupon
and use one $1/1 Culturelle coupon, Walgreens Digestive Care Booklet (might deduct $2) OR $2/1 Culturelle Product coupon from inside previously purchase Culturelle product
and use one BOGO Nestle Valentine Hearts printable coupon (no longer available)
Price at Register: $13.38-$14.38 (depending on whether Culturelle coupon is worth $1 or $2), but receive $10 Register Reward (Culturelle) and $10 Register Reward (AZO)
*** Note if you don’t have the Nestle coupon, just buy one product without a coupon (instead of two) and your math on this deal is the same.

You can find more Walgreens deals here, plus there’s the nice Glade deal I wrote about here as well and the Fiber Choice moneymaker I wrote about here.

Thanks to Wild for Wags for the tip.

Extreme Couponing Tip: You can usually get two prints of most internet coupons. To find them in the easiest possible way, use our preclipped links that take you right to the coupon. Then come back and click the same link to get your 2nd print. This will save you the time spent searching for the coupon.

  1. Hey Steve – could we combine this $5/$20 coupon with register rewards to lower the up front out-of-pocket or do you think we can’t use RR along with this coupon? Did 3 transactions this morning and all 3 printed the $5 coupon. Thanks!

    • You can use Register Rewards to lower your out-of-pocket. I used a few on this transaction, but I tend to leave them off my post about the deal because it confuses folks on the percentage saved.

Just make sure your total number of items is greater than the combined number of manufacturer’s coupons and Register Rewards you are using.

      • I think that is why i rather use CVS over WG because it seems to complicated. But willing to try this one and give them another chance…

  2. Thanks for the quick response – you do an amazing job!

  3. I used mine with a KY Intense Gel + $4 off coupon and got back a $25 certificate. Plus earned 3000 points!! This makes it a $12 Money maker!!!

  4. Mine didn’t give me a $5 off coupon, and then they were out of the AZO and the Culturelle, so I said thanks but no thanks and left.

  5. MauraFlorida says:

TY. I got one on my first order, but not on my second. The trash can outside the store appeared to have been freshly emptied because I did take a peek before I went into the store. LOL

Even so, the one I did get was good for a lovely $6 MM with the Culturelle ($2/1MQ), Thermacare, three Glade Fragrance Mist Starters (three $2/1 MQs + 2,000 points), and four candy bars (1,000 points).

  6. When in this morning to do some shopping and got my $5 off $20. I did another transaction and got another one. Since, it has to be use in two days, I decided to used it on a Philips Norelco, price at 19.99.
    – used a $10 off on any Philips Norelco
    – purchase .39 cent candy
    – used $5 off $20
    – used $3 rr
    – oop: $2.00

  7. At the top of the $5 of $20 it says Store Coupon, does that mean we can stack it and not worry about the item # being the same as the # of coupons used since it is a store coupon not a manufacturer?

    • If you are talking about the rule that requires you to have no more coupons than manufacturer’s coupons, then the $5 off $20 coupon does not count towards that rule.

  8. Does anyone know if it is still printing out today, Saturday?
