Our savings percentage wasn’t as high as normal at CVS today, but that was due in part to the fact that I served as our guinea pig on the Edge/Skintimate deal. I wanted to know if the actual limit is higher than the one stated in the ad. (Unfortunately, it isn’t.) Anyways, here is what we bought, along with the coupons used:

The limit on the ECB is 1 but you earned one on each transaction??????????
Two people, two cards, two different households
The red machine gave me a $3/$10 shaving coupon (razors, gels, creams – no brand restrictions) last week, so I bought a Venus razor for $6.79 and two Edge gels for $3.49 each. I used a $2/1 Venus family MQ, a $2/2 Edge MQ, and the $3/$10 CVS Q. $6.77 before tax, but I got a $4 Gillette ECB and $2 Edge ECB, so I only paid $0.77 plus tax for all three items. I could have bough the razor and one Skintimate and used the $2/1 Venus, a $.55/1 Skintimate MQ, and the $3 CVS Q and had a MM, but I wanted the Edge.
I also bought two Purex Crystals for BOGO $7.29 (ouch – that went up in price recently), the ReNu for $7.99, and the sleep aid for $1.99. Used two $1/1 Purex MQs, a $2.50/1 ReNu Savings Club MQ, and a $5/$30 CVS Q that was expiring today. I received a $5 ECB for the ReNu, a $1.99 ECB for the sleep aid, and a $1 ECB for green bag tag.
For everything, including tax, I paid only $2.48 ($1.74 of that was tax) after $14 total in ECBs. It would have been even better if my Purex BOGO MQ had not expired on 1/14, but I can’t complain.
Great job!! I did almost the exact same thing!!!
My CVS had the Gillette Embrace cartridge for $4.59 (clearance) so I was able to buy one Gillette Embrace cartridge ($4.59 ) and one Gillette Fusion Proglide razor @ $10.99 and use 1 $10 off Gillette Fusion/Proglide razor when you any Gillette cartridge 4ct or more p&g 1/27. It would be before sale/coupons $15.58 – $10 mq and $4 EBC when you buy Gillette razor = $1.58.
Wow nice!
That is a lot of Mountain Dew!
Cheap Rogaine at CVS
Rogaine is on sale at CVS. Says my e-mail from CVS. So the same deal for Rite Aid might now work at CVS.
The $20 rebate is still out there.
There is a $10 off paper coupon from Sunday 1/6/13
So it’s cheap if you have some CVS coupons for dollar-off or percentage off.
