cvs-021713Well, I hope this CVS trip doesn’t bore you, but I couldn’t find the Brookside Dark Chocolate and we just have so many lotions and cleansers that I just didn’t feel like picking up the Eucerin or the Clean & Clear deals. We were, however, down to just about five bottles of laundry detergent, which puts us nearly in panic mode. With that in mind, here’s what I bought, along with the coupons used:

Get $5 cashback from SavingStar when you buy $15 of All Laundry Detergent
Used two $2/2 All Laundry Detergent 32 loads/24 ct or larger printable coupons
Price at Register: $11.98, but earned $5 SavingStar deposit
NET PRICE FOR ALL: $6.98 (or $1.74 each!)

Total Retail Value of All Merchandise: $31.96
Net Price Paid for Everything: $6.98
Savings Rate (excluding tax): 78.2%

Extreme Couponing Tip: You can usually get two prints of most internet coupons. To find them in the easiest possible way, use our preclipped links that take you right to the coupon. Then come back and click the same link to get your 2nd print. This will save you the time spent searching for the coupon.

  1. The All Facebook coupons are gone :(

    • BOO! Make sure you check out the site through the week or sign up for our newsletter. I wrote about this deal about 3-4 days ago, so if you keep coming back you won’t miss out on deals like this one going forward.

  2. Howdy
There is a $2/1 off of All detergent from 1/6/13 RP (second insert)
    It expires today, 2/17/2013

I had a bunch, but I don’t use that detergent, so I tossed them already.
The dollar stores also have All detergent cheap or free, when you use the $2/1 coupon, if you like it.

A lot of coupons are expiring today, including the famous FREE Good ‘N Natural bar coupon

Since it is a slow week, I am going to look through my coupons with no size restrictions, and pick up some small size bottles of different products. The $1 off or $2 off coupons are good for this.
Especially if you shop at the dollar stores that accept coupons. Pretty much, unless it says “Trial size” or “travel size” on the package, it is fair game.

Udderly Smooth lotion has a $1/1 that was in the Sunday newspaper’s Parade magazine @two weeks ago.
Dollar Tree carries it for $1 = FREE

Gold Bold “Ultimate” lotion has a $1/1. Walgreens has these in a cardboard display. I have seen it on an endcap and also it the “trial sizes” section and in the cosmetics section. The cardboard display has a big 99 cents on it = FREE

Target also seems to stock a lot of the little sizes in quantity.

  3. This site lists the expiration dates, along with the cover page only of each insert.

    — from Sunday Coupon Inserts

[I am thinking about ordering some inserts, Two newspapers from last week only had partial inserts in them. Someone had even left a page where they had torn the coupons off!]

  4. They had the Brookside Dark Chocolates behind the counter at my CVS.

I didn’t buy anything except that and papers today, but since I got a CVS coupon from the Red Machine for $5 off L’Oreal Miracle Blur I’m hoping to get another tomorrow for a great EB and rebate deal.

  5. Just a question;
yesterday I bought 2 all detergent in BOGO at CVS. Now, is this purchase enought for the SavingStar coupon or not?
I was not able to find the asnwer. the point is that before BOGO the price is 15.98…but I am not sure if it counts or not. I checked on SavingStar website but my purchase is not on the system yet….

    • It will take a few days for anything to show on SavingStar. That said, I’m pretty certain you need to buy four because the prices show on the receipt as $7.99 and FREE.

  6. This is what it says hen I go to print he coupon on Facebook (Sorry, this coupon program has ended
