Earth Fare (Monica) – $.83 paid for $12.83 worth of merchandise (93.5% savings)

PTDC0133I went to Earth Fare for the first time today. The store is so nice as well as the employees. Unfortunately, they were out of the free water already but that is ok because I can still get that at Publix (if I make it over there in time). I recently joined the Tomato Bank through Earth Fare and received 1000 points which equals $10. This week they are also running a “Meet the Butcher” special where you receive the scratch off card that could be worth up to 1000 points. My scratch off card today was worth 400 points. So here is what I got (I really want some homemade chicken salad which is why I got the onions and grapes.)

BANANAS $.65/lb – $.45
STRAWBERRIES – $3.69
RED SEEDLESS GRAPES $3.69/lb – $7.20
GREEN ONION BUNCH – $1.49

I redeemed 1200 points today which brought my out of pocket down to $.83 plus tax. I was very pleased when I found out that they only tax the amount that is left after you use your points!

Total Retail Value of All Merchandise: $12.83
Net Price Paid for Everything: $.83
Savings Rate (excluding tax): 93.5%

  1. Love this new program Earth Fare has started….used my points last week…also loved the $1.50 bag of organic oranges they had last week. I used my water coupon at publix along with the free Brie cheese EF coupon.

    • I didn’t get the Brie coupon for some reason. I love the program too. I will definitely add them to my shopping trips if they keep up the great points earning program. Otherwise, it is very pricey!

  2. Earthfares in the Asheville area are awesome, they are a bit pricey but that is because they carry high quality products. I was able to print a coupon for a free whole chicken when I spent $10 so…

    Fresh baguette 2.69
    2 can tomatoes 2.76
    Fresh Parmesan 4.02
    Feta Cheese 1.99
    Whole Chicken 15.98

I used my 1000 points plus the 200 I got from the scratch off and spent 10 cents and still have 110 points left. This is the best shopping trip ever. I haven’t been to Earthfare in years but I will go now as frequently as possible, the people are so friendly and the atmosphere is great. I just wish I could afford to shop there all the time.

    • Agreed. The quality is AMAZING! You had an awesome trip! I have been a member for a while so my whole chicken coupon was used at Publix a very long time ago.
