After finding out about the hot Nivea moneymaker, I decided to make a second trip to CVS. I had forgotten my Colgate coupons earlier (and I’m the one with an Ibotta account), so Stephanie used her card when we did round one. I let her stay at home and went solo for round two. (I also tried to take the pic in a different part of the counterspace – still kinda dark.)
Here’s what I bought, along with the coupons used:

I wish I lived close to the CVS stores you go to! You always find awesome prices! The stores around me never have those good clearance deals you find! There were no more Nivea tins left!
Thanks for posting!
Tip on the speed sticks…my store actually had the clearance signs covered by the pricing for the ECB deals. (The clearance tags were underneath.) You may want to price check the varieties in my pic if you go back to the store this week.
Steve, if the Ibotta app doesn’t show the store like CVS? Does it mean I can’t do the deal, right? Pardon me, I’m still trying to catch up with the Ibotta thing.lol
You should see the stores where you can redeem the offer when you go to the offer (after loading it) and clicking where it says “Redeem.” I think there are some quirks with Ibotta on some devices, so make sure it is available for you at CVS first.
I hope that makes sense.
If you have some of the “older” devices, like an IPad 2, the Ibotta app will only work with stores that have barcode and itemcode receipts, not words. So it will work at Walgreens and Target, but not Publix and CVS.
Thanks for explaining.
Mhye, my iPad2 does not have alot of the stores that I can see on my Android phone. I did a little research and that is because of the way the receipts and barcodes have to be scanned that some devices do not support (such as the iPad2). That may be the problem that you are having. HTH
So the clearance speed stick counts towards the ECB?
Yes!
It’s weird…sometimes clearance works on ECB deals and sometimes it doesn’t. Figured it was easily worth the gamble since they didn’t cost anything after coupons
Thank you guys for the clarification. Was always hoping to get deals from CVS via Ibotta but guess I can’t do it. My iPad & iPod aren’t user friendly for the Ibotta deals
I was bummed when my iPad wasn’t compatable with all the stores but quickly they got an Android version and it does hold all of the stores. Sorry bout that!
On Ibotta, how do you redeem 2 of the same deal? When I redeem the first deal it no longer
appears as available. Thanks for your help!
You can only do each individual deal once.
You can also check some of the Loreal paris haircare products. The price is not marked on the shelf but they are on clearance at 1.74 each. Regular price 6.99 or 6.49. There is a 2 dollar off coupon in 1/6 newspaper. You can make .26 cents on each
Its Loreal everstyle rootlifting 6.5 oz size
