Here’s an important update for those of you that shop at Walgreens. Apparently you can no longer buy multiples of a Balance Rewards deal in the same transaction and get points for each deal. For the first few weeks, you could do something like this:
OFFER: Buy one widget, get 2500 points
YOUR TRANSACTION: Buy four widgets, get 10,000 points (2500 for each deal)
Now you need to break your items up into multiple transactions, because the system will only give you points for each deal one time per transaction.
For example, if you want to buy four widgets in the above scenario, you will now need to do four transactions to do the same deal four times.
The eliminated need to do multiple transactions was the (only) thing I liked about their new program. Grrrrrrrr!

I bought 6 Suave lotions this morning in the same transaction and they were to give 2000 for each 2. I did get 6000 points for this. Maybe it is only certain items?
Hmmmm maybe they are just coding some deals incorrectly and it’s not a policy change. Anyways, everyone should just make sure they check their receipts carefully so that they get all their points.
I stopped shopping @ Wags . It wasn’t worth all the frustration, confusion and unpleasant experience most of the time. Don’t miss it all
