  1. Hi Monica,
    A lot of us rec’d those 20% off coupons from CVS.com or the red coupon machine this past week. Unfortunately they can’t be used on sale items. Any ideas on how to make the best use of this coupon today?
    Thanks!!

    • The Dermasilk, Physician’s Formula, and Pringles are all regular priced items so you could use the 20% off with any of those to sweeten the deal. I think I may have to get the Pringles (we are chip lovers) and $.30 a can is a great price. Hopefully I will have time to make it over there this week.

      • How are they $.30 a can?

        • They are regularly priced for $1, minus the 20% savings ($.20) from the CVS coupon, makes them $.80, minus the $.50 manufacturer coupon listed in the post makes them $.30.

        • I just wanted to update…the deal will not work for the Pringles, the coupon is not a match and they are considered a sale item since they are 10/$10.

          • Hi Monica,
            Thanks so much. I went and got a Physicians Formula eyeshadow set, which costs $11.29. I had a $1 coupon, and $2.26 came off with the 20% off coupon from CVS red machine, Total OOP was $8.03 (used up some old ECB’s), and I received a $7 ECB!! I’d say that was a pretty good use of the 20% off coupon – considering it was expiring today. Thanks for the help Monica!!

          • Not a problem, glad you had all the other matching coupons to go with it.

  2. I use my 20% to buy my newspaper.

  3. hello, if you need gillete disposable razors, you can actually use your 20% off as they are not a sale price. they also produce 3ECB (limit 1), i’ve seen disposable razors as low as 7.99, in my area, i’ve seen some @ 8.99, there’s a BOGO disposable razor (up to 12.99 and i think it’s auto-deducting which maybe YMMV) and a 3/1 gillete disposable razor MQ so:

    8.99*2== 17.98
    use BOGO MQ: 12.99 or 8.99
    20% off: 3.60
    -3/1 MQ
    == 1.61 MM and you’ll get 3ECB if 12.99 auto deducted or 2.39 and you’ll get 3ECB

    HE big bottle shampoos/conditioner: buy 15 get 5 ECB (there’s BOGO MQ up to 6.99) and 3/2 HE MQ — limit: 7?

    buy 8 @ 5.99 = 47.92
    use 4 BOGO Q: -27.96 if auto deducted to 6.99 and -23.96 if not
    use 5 3/2 = 12
    ==7.96 or 11.96 ( may roll your ECB) and will get back 15 ECBs

    :) )

    • ***correction: use 4 x 3/2 MQ instead of 5.. my finger has it’s own brain now as my brain chose to sleep for a while :)

      • ***geez. why did i put 4 * 3/2 Qs.. should be 2* 3/2, I kept on thinking that it’s 3/1. sorry about that. so OOP will be 13.96 or 17.96 then get back 15 ecb for BIG BOTTLES of HE
