Walgreens 9/12 – Paid $4.31 on $13.71 of Merchandise (68.6% Saved)

My savings rate was torpedoed at Walgreens this week because I forgot my $1/1 Pepperidge Farm Jingos! printable coupons. These would have been only 99 cents after sale and coupons. I didn’t realize this until after my order was rung up, so I had to have them removed from the order. Then my subtotal was three cents too low to use a Register Reward, so I had to buy the cashier a piece of full price candy to get over the threshold. Ughhhhh….

Nevertheless, I scored some nice deals on Suave, Dove Chocolate and Anna’s Ginger Thins. I was also running out of gum and paper plates, so I picked these up at a decent price. Here’s what I bought, along with the coupons used:
