I headed out to the drugstores shortly before midnight last night. I stopped at Walgreens first to grab some deals before the weekly ad ended, then I went to CVS to shop the new ad. Finally I went back to Walgreens on the way home to shop the new ad there. Here’s what I bought at CVS, along with the coupons used:

  1. Was the razor advertised as getting a ECB back? The only ones at my store I saw advertised were like 12 something to get a ECB back.

  2. The cheapest my store had was 8.79 with coupon it was 5.79, the manager had to force the ecb and told me she was doing me a favor even though the ad said any gillette venus. They seem to be stuck on whatever the picture is of. Not a bad deal though.

  3. Re: the Venus deal at my CVS in Mass, I couldn’t locate a Venus under $12.99, and some were more! I’m going to another CVS later today to see if I can locate any that are anywhere near what you got Steve. Thanks for the shopping trip!!

  4. I did the same transactions as Steve. Although the posted sale signs (by a $12 razor, get the $5 ECB) were not on the 6.99 venus razors, I took a chance (and the ad in case I had to argue my point with the cashier). But the $5 ECB printed without a problem. Woo hoo!

  5. My CVS would not accept the $3 coupon stating the BOGO coupon covered both razors. The ECB wouldn’t print either on the $7.79 razors. They were the cheapest razors there.
