CVS 9/19 – Paid $0.98 on $12.47 of Merchandise (92.1% Saved)

I had a $4 Extra Care Bucks reward that was expiring today, so I had to shop at CVS this week. Luckily there was one deal worth doing, the Colgate 360 Toothbrush deal, plus I got suckered into buying a yummy illy iced coffee when the CVS Red Coupon Machine spit out a $1/1 coupon. I love iced coffee, especially chocolatey iced coffee ;)

Here’s the breakdown of my rather uneventful trip:

TWO COLGATE 360 MANUAL TOOTHBRUSHES, on sale $2.99 (regular price $4.99)
ONE ILLY ICED COFFEE, on sale $2 (regular price $2.49)
Get $2 Extra Care Bucks when you buy Colgate 360 Manual Toothbrush (limit 2)
Used two $1/1 Colgate 360 Toothbrush coupons, 9/9 SS newspaper insert
and used one $1/1 Illy Iced Coffee CVS Coupon, Red Coupon Machine week of 9/16-9/22
Price at Register: $4.98, but received $4 Extra Care Bucks (Colgate $2*2)
NET PRICE FOR EVERYTHING: $0.98

I used a $4 ECB to make my price at the register only $0.98 and my $4 ECB was replaced by the new Colgate ECB I earned.

Total Retail Value of All Merchandise: $12.47
Net Price Paid for Everything: $0.98 (plus tax)
Savings Rate (excluding tax): 92.1%

    Another great deal for me was the Herbal Essences. It is 2/$7 right now and the BOGO coupon from the 8/26 PG is scanning at $6.99 so only $.01 for both! The Pantene did the same but it is on sale for $3.99 each so got them for $.99.

      You buy 2 at 2/$7. When the cashier scans the BOGO coupon from the 9/16 SS, it automatically deducts $6.99 so you pay $.01 plus tax. I have heard some stores are adjusting the coupon but my store does not. If it scans at that amount then they leave it. I heard it is scanning that way at Target too. HTH!

    Hi! For those who have babies like me :) I just went to CVS and did two transactions. They have Get $10 ECB When you Buy $30 Worth of Baby Products. 1- Johnsons Baby was 2/$6 1- Yogurt Melts 2/$4 1 Gerber Soothe Formula Sale $23.00. and ofcourse i did the tooth brush 360 deal. bought 2 colgate 360 on sale 2.99. Coupons used:1/$1.00 yogurt melts 1/$2.25 gerber printable $1.50/2 colgate manual toothbrush ( got it this coupon a while ago) 1/$1.00 johnson and johnson baby wash and a $5 ECB i had left over that exp on the 23rd. price at register $23.86 But received $10.00 ECB for spending $30 on baby items and $4.00 ECB for the toothbrush (NOTE: Im missing one $2 baby item but i got it yesterday) NOT BAD FOR FORMULA :)
