Can someone explain this to me since I am kinda new to Walgreens policies. So last week I had $3 RR and I bought 2 scope and used 2/.75 coupons and also bought something for $2.99 (can’t remember what it was at this point) but I did not have a coupon for this item. I guess I had to have a filler because the cashier said it would not go through. So I end up buying a highlighter. Where did I go wrong on this one?
According to what you have written you did everything correctly, you should not have had to have a filler item.
That’s what I thought. I figured since I had 3 items and only had 2 coupons and 1 RR I would be fine. I guess I’ll be going to the other Walgreens I always have issues with this cashier. Thanks!

I thought the RR was considered a coupon as well? If you only had 2 items, with 2 coupons and a RR you have to use a filler per policy, or it will beep. You have to have 1 item more then the amount of coupons (And RR is considered a coupon). Or at least that’s how all the walgreens around here treat it. If you have one that doesn’t – you’re lucky.
She had 3 items, 2 Scope (that she had coupons for) and another item for $2.99 (that she didn’t have coupons for) so she used one RR that was the way that I understood it.
At my Walgreens today, the Glade Expressions mist starter kits ($2.99) were giving out 2 $1RRs instead of 1. Did this transaction multiple times and got 2 each time. Love unexpected RRs
