  1. Monica you miss the the mamm on crest mouth wash. bogo coupon from PG equals free add CVS q equals mm

    • I will check it out once I get back to the house. I am having to fix a broken pipe right this second so I can get the water back on in the house (it may be very late). Thanks for the heads up.

    • I have done my research and here is why I didn’t see it the first time because it is not a moneymaker and they will end up costing $1.44 each which is not a stock up price in my opinion. But if you guys want to see the deal here it is…

BUY ONE CREST 3D WHITE RINSE 500ML- regular price $5.39
BUY ONE CREST 3D WHITE RINSE 946ML – regular price $7.49
Get $5 ECB when you buy $10 in Select 3D White products
Use one FREE Crest Rinse 500ml or less when you buy 946ml or larger (maximum $5) PG 7/29
Price at register: $7.88 but get $5ECB, making them $1.44 each.

If there is another deal that I am missing please let me know.

      • Glennette says:

Monica Dont forget the Aussie/Herbal Essence Deal.. Spend 30.00 get back 10.00 in ECB & were expecting the 3.00 off 2 coupon in 2morrows paper. Stacked with the 1.00 off 2 or 3.00 off 2 CVS red machine coupons that have been printing everyday. Would make for a good price depending on how many & which coupons you may have.

Also, Great eye on the mouthwash. .44 cents each is a great price considering 1 is the large bottle (I happen to have the 1.00 off 5 coupons..) This mouth wash is comparable to the 3D white strips that normally cost 25.00-40.00 depending on where you purchase them at.

  2. 2 crest mouthwash 5.39= 10.78
    PG 7/29 BOGO q. -5.00
    2 Cvs q $1 off $5 crest -2.00
    Get back EB -5.00

total 1.22 mm or .39 cents each definite stock up price.

    • You can’t use the BOGO coupon on two $5.39 because it specifies that you have to buy one $7.49 (946ml) in order to get the $5.39 (500ml) free. But you could use two of the CVS coupons in addition to the scenario I posted and they will end up being $.44 each.

  3. Amber Howard says:

Everything ok with the pipe??? I was wondering why there was no rite aid scenario, but now I realize… Hope everything is ok! Thanks for everything you do! :)

    • Thanks Amber. I am about to post the Rite Aid in just a few minutes but it will be a bit longer for the scenario. As far as the pipe goes we are halfway there, I was just waiting on the glue to dry but it seems like we still have a small leak so it looks like it is going to be a long night. I will get this done and then go back out there and fix it.

  4. Terrible ad? I see a ton of great deals, none of which are listed here. This match-up sucks.

    • Glennette says:

She had a busted water pipe so she missed a few deals, give her a break. I scored at CVS this morning myself!

    • Obviously everyone has differences of opinion when it comes to deals. Your comment could have been worded differently if you wanted to nicely voice your opinion of the ad. As far as the match-up goes, the post is about what is free or almost free, as is in the title of the post. There’s not a lot else to be included as far as free or almost free. As I was taught and have taught my children…if you can’t say anything nice don’t say anything at all. If criticism is necessary, make it constructive.

      • That was my ‘nice’ comment. If you can’t put together a quality list, then why post one? I understand life happens. I am a single parent, a full time student, and have a full time job… And I could still glance over the ad and see more ‘free or almost free deals’ in the ad than this. And yes, I occasionally fix leaking pipes or broken garbage disposals. Personally, I liked Steve’s lists a lot better. He did a much more thorough job.

        • Even if the list was less than stellar this week, cut her some slack. Stuff happens.

Also, I am sure that there are some people who rely on our list almost exclusively to plan their shopping. A less than perfect list is better than none for those folks.

Personally, I’ve been so buried in other stuff that I haven’t even read the posts yet to put together my list for this week’s shopping.

        • I think the list was just fine — I agree with Monica that this week didn’t have that many amazing deals (particularly deals that most people would be able to do). I was able to find a couple that weren’t on the list, but that’s partially because I have the right coupons for them and my stores have prices that make them work. If there were deals you found that weren’t listed, I’m sure nobody would mind if you posted them.

  5. Samantha says:

The General Mills bar deal also includes Fiber One bars and there are many, many Fiber one printables floating around and some expected in the paper today. I’ll be stocking up, even without the ECB’s they will be on sale cheaper than walmart!

  6. Hope your pipe is fixed soon! That’s no fun, but life does take over the deals sometimes.

I had a great morning at CVS, and even went negative on my total, which I have never done before (so had to pick up extra product). Love the Herbal Essence/Aussie deal (pair with $3/1 MQ and $1/2 CRT), the Crest 3D White deal, the Beef Jerky deal (B1G1 and paired with $2/1), more Skinny Cow, Cokes, DP Tens, free Revitalens (Free CRT), $2/10 Beauty, and 25% off non sale items. Oh, and I had a raincheck for Nivea tins ECBs.

The deals are what you make of them. It helps when you have a store that takes expired CRTs and likes couponers. I love the matchups (thank you!), but also take time to sit with a cup of coffee and see what’s in the ad.

    • Thanks Shannon! I did get the pipe fixed and pretty proud that I did it all by myself (well I did have help from my 10 year old).

      • I know how much “help” you probably had. ;) Keep up the good work!

        • Thanks Shannon. He did hold the flash light (on the dog) while we were all under the house. I am so glad it wasn’t filmed.

  7. Just wanted to let you know that at CVs tonight I bought 2 Gillette disposable razors for men at 7.49ea and used the $2 off one and the bogo coupon from todays paper and the Bogo took off 12.99. not sure why or if it was the cashier but it was a freebie for me tonight! :)

    • Awesome!! Lucky you, at all of my stores BOGO coupons will not scan with a price in the system. It beeps and makes them enter the price so I don’t get this lucky.

  8. I just bought the 2 crest mouth rinse 946 and 500ml and no EB’s printed :( I gotta figure out what I did wrong :-/

    • I’m probably not going to make it out to CVS until this evening. (The roommate has the newspapers from yesterday in her car, and she’s at work.) When I go I will try to do the deal and let you know what happens after I figure it out. If you figure it out before then, please share the info ;)

      • The Crest deal on mouthwash worked for me – you have to buy the 3D White mouthwash to get the EBs. Mine cost 7.99 and 5.99; I only used the B1G1 coupon. no CVS coupon used (other than 25% off).

  9. Tammyp2335 says:

    CHEAP CREST @ CVS.

Used a $3/$15 Crest/OralB/Vicks from CVS Red Coupon Machine
Used Mfg BOGO (Buy one Crest Mouthrinse 946ml and get one Crest Mouthrinse 500ml Free) Max. $5.00

    $16.25
    (3.00)
    (5.00)

Subtotal before tax – $8.25 (Received $5 RR for Crest Rinse and $2 RR for Crest Toothpaste).

Great deal if you have a % off CVS coupon since the Crest is regular price. Unfortunately I used mine this weekend on the Simple Facewash Deal. :(

  10. Monica, Where are those shopping trips we love so much?? Walgreens or CVS would be great!!! Thanks!!!

  11. I had two great trips this week — I didn’t get a lot, but I got more than I was expecting to this week.

One deal that I found was for the BOGO Nivea products. I’m not sure if anyone has participated in any of their free product giveaways recently (like this one: https://www.facebook.com/NIVEAusa/app_168749696562045), but if you did and still have a coupon for a free product, you can do the BOGO and get two free!

I also did the Simple deal this week. I’m not sure if all stores are doing this, but at my store, the register automatically took $2 off each product, which ended up making the purchase even cheaper than I was expecting (wipes were only $4.29 and face washes were only $5.79). Had I expected that, I could have gotten 4 wipes for $.16 total/$.04 each before tax, after coupons and ECBs ($5 ECB wyb $15 Simple products, $5/$15 cosmetic coupon from Red Machine, and 2 $3.50/2 manufacturer’s coupons), but I ended up getting 2 face washes and 1 pack of wipes for $.87 total before tax (although I had overages from other items that took the price down to $.19 total before tax, so I’m pretty happy with that).

Also, there’s a coupon on MinuteClinic’s Facebook page for a free 2oz travel-size CVS brand sunscreen that I think is still available (https://www.facebook.com/MinuteClinic/app_133578850062126). I used that today, and although the sunscreen cost $2.19, the coupon took off $2.37, so I got an overage of $.18. I thought it might have been to cover tax, but that was more than the price of tax for the item, and no tax was charged for the item, either. Anyway, that was a nice surprise!

Lastly, I’ve been looking all over the place for trial sized Clean&Clear products to use the $1/1 coupons that came out a while back (with no size restrictions), but none of my stores seem to sell them. I hadn’t even bothered to look at CVS until yesterday, though, and I found some Deep Action Cream Cleansers for $.99. So, I picked up a couple of those, too :)

Overall, I’m pretty happy with the week!
