Here’s another decent option for those of you with expiring Register Rewards at Walgreens. We have some new Cottonelle coupons, including one that will get you a decent deal on a 12-pack of toilet paper at Walgreens. Occasionally we see better deals, but this is a pretty good price. Here are the new Cottonelle coupons:

$1/1 Cottonelle Bath Tissue
$0.50/1 Cottonelle Flushable Moist Wipes

And here is the Walgreens scenario for the Cottonelle 12-packs:
BUY ONE COTTONELLE TOILET PAPER 12-PACK, regular price $5
Use one $1/1 Cottonelle 12-pack Walgreens store coupon, July Savings Book
and use one $1/1 Cottonelle Bath Tissue printable manufacturer coupon
NET PRICE: $3 (or 25 cents per roll!)

Extreme Couponing Tip: You can usually get two prints of most internet coupons. To find them in the easiest possible way, use our preclipped links that take you right to the coupon. Then come back and click the same link to get your 2nd print. This will save you the time spent searching for the coupon.

Steve, you do such a fabulous job putting together all these deals for us! I’ve noticed sometimes you say what you believe to be a good stock up price. I don’t want to give you any more work, but since I am somewhat new to couponing, I would love to know what you think are great stock up prices on different products (ie, toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags). Thanks in advance (if you’re able)!!

    • I’ll try to put together a little post on a slow day. FYI the price I look for on Cottonelle 12-packs is around $2 when we get a coupon overlapping with a Register Rewards deal, but that’s just because I have about eight 12-packs in the garage right now. If I was down to my last two 12-packs and hadn’t found a deal in a while, I’d do this one.

THANKS!! That would be awesome! I know I’m not the only one who would appreciate it :)

      • Hi Steve
On that rare slow day….. maybe answering another question ? :) Donation items. Do you use a special form? Do you have the organization sign your form ? Do you list item and retail value ? If you got a item for free, what do you write down ? etc.
I have found so many great deals using this website and thankfully my donation box is getting rather full. I would like to have a record for tax purposes.. Many thanks

        • I typed up a form listing item description, quantity and retail value, plus my name and address, as well as the receiving organization’s name and address. For some items with multiple prices/varieties (ex. Sundown Naturals Vitamins), I listed them all at the lowest price rather than over-itemize. In the Sundown example, all Sundown Vitamins were listed at $2.99, the lowest retail price at the time. (Now the lowest is $3.29 at Publix.)

I then had a representative of the organization sign and date the form, plus I had them write in their job title. Because some organizations are not willing to assign a value to the donation and make the giver figure it out themselves, I had a statement above the signature line that said something like:

“I affirm that we have received the above-mentioned items, although I have not personally assigned the listed retail values noted on this form.”

That’s not the exact wording, but it was something like that.

          Hope tha helps :)

  2. Will you have to have a filler item since you are using 2 coupons?

  3. I think the Walgreens 12 roll pack are single rolls and the Publix are double rolls when they go on sale. Don’t you think it would be better to wait for Publix sale?

    • It’s possible. In fact, you have all the way til the end of the month to do the Walgreens deal. If you don’t have expiring RRs this week, you may be best to wait since you have a few weeks to do the Walgreens scenario.
