three boxes, i think we might be able to use both yellow qs, one is for the ziploc and one is for the meat? maybe, all we can do is try.
SJS – some stores won’t allow both yellow coupons, while others will. Your mileage may vary on that part of the deal.
Three boxes stinks a little. If so, you’ll need to buy four Ziplocs to use one meat coupon or six to use two if you want to maximize the deal.
Just did the deal at Publix. I used the Publix Yellow Flyer for $2 off deli meat when you buy 3 Ziploc, $1/2 Ziploc, and a mq .75/4 Buddig meats (BOGO). Then I used the mq for $1/2 on Ziploc well. Everything went well until I was told that you can only purchase 10 like items on sale per day. So, I had to change out some Ziploc sizes. I have never had a problem with purchasing quantities on sale until today. Now that I know, I’ll just mix and match from now on when possible.

At least they let you use different sizes. At the Publix I shop, it is 10 period. They even will only let you get 10 yogurts even if different flavors, 10 yakisoba noodles, etc. Some deals like dog food, they limit to 4 items and it doesn’t matter the flavor…4 total per trip.
The $2 coupon requires the purchase of the ziplocs, so if you also use the $1/2 ziplocs store coupon,that would be using two store coupons on the same items. You can use the argument that the $2 coupon attaches to the meat, but technically it doesn’t and would be against Publix policy to use them both together. Just use the $1/2 MQ, the $1/2 store coupon and get $.50 bags. What a great deal! As you said, YMMV, but why try to push a great deal at Publix that is already so coupon friendly?
IMO, if the coupon language is B3G1, then I think it attaches per the Publix policy. Last time I checked the Publix policy was silent on “when you buy” language.
That said, some stores will interpret that it attaches, while others will not. YMMV
I have the flyer. The lu # is 11962. It says “Save $2 on publix deli meat when you buy any 3 dixie or dixie ultra paper plates or bowls or Ziploc brand bags or containers.”
I used 2 ziploc $1/2 mf coupons,2 $1/2 store coupons and the $2 off yesterday when I bought a 1/2 # of the seranno ham @ 4.99 a pound.
The bags will come real handy to put my doritos in:)
