What’s FREE (or almost free) at CVS 6/3-6/9!

Sometimes additional deals surface after this post is written. Click here to view the most recent posts about CVS.

Just like the 6/3 Walgreens ad, we have a few phenomenal deals in the CVS weekly ad that starts on 6/3, but the great deals seem to end there. That said, I’m excited to pick up a free Oral B Cross Action Power Toothbrush because my current toothbrush is on its last leg and I don’t want to use a manual. I’m spoiled now. Free Starbucks Refreshers sound pretty good to me too.

Here are the coupon matchups for the best stock-up deals at CVS starting 6/3/12:

THE MONEYMAKERS AT CVS STARTING 6/3:
POSSIBLE MONEYMAKER ON ORAL B TOOTHBRUSHES – If you still have a $1/1 ANY Toothbrush CVS store coupon from the Red Coupon Machine this past week, you will have a moneymaker. (It printed twice for me this week and I used one, so I still have one left.) Oral-B manual toothbrushes and Oral B Glide Floss will be on sale for $2.77 with a $2 Extra Care Bucks Reward printing at checkout. We are expecting a $0.25/1 Oral-B Toothbrush coupon in the 6/3 P&G newspaper insert, plus we are also expecting a $0.50/1 coupon for the Glide Floss. The best toothbrush deal is to buy one and use a $0.25/1 manufacturer coupon from the 6/3 P&G insert plus a $1/1 ANY Toothbrush CVS store coupon. Pay $1.52 and get $2 back in ECBs for a $0.48 moneymaker. Another option is to buy the Glide Floss and use the $0.50/1 coupon. Pay $2.27 and get $2 back in ECBs, for a net price of $0.27 each.

POSSIBLE MONEYMAKER ON PHYSICIAN’S FORMULA SKIN CARE – There will be a $15 Extra Care Bucks reward when you buy any Physician’s Formula Skin Care. The products that automatically trigger the ECB reward are priced at $19.99, so $4.99 after Extra Care Bucks; however, there are tinted MOISTURIZERS in the cosmetics area for $11.99. If your store is good about forcing ECBs to print, buy one of the tinted moisturizers for $11.99 and get $15 back in ECBs for a $3.01 MONEYMAKER!

FREEBIE DEALS AT CVS IN THE 6/3/12 WEEKLY AD:
POSSIBLE FREE ORAL B CROSS ACTION TOOTHBRUSH OR CHEAP RINSE – The Oral-B Cross Action Power Brush and the Crest Pro-Health Rinse 1L or Whitening 16 oz will be on sale for $5.99 with a $5 Extra Care Bucks reward printing on checkout. If you have the $1/1 ANY Toothbrush CVS store coupon, buy an Oral-B Cross Action Power Brush for $4.99 after coupon and get $5 back in Extra Care Bucks, making it free. Another option is to buy the rinse and use the $0.25/1 coupon we are expecting in the 6/3 P&G newspaper insert. Pay $5.74 and get back $5 in Extra Care Bucks. Net price is 74 cents.

FREE SPEED STICK DEODORANT – Speed Stick and Lady Speed Stick Deodorant will be on sale for $2.99 with a $2 Extra Care Bucks reward printing when you buy one. There was a $1/1 coupon in the 5/20 SS newspaper insert. Buy one and use a $1/1 coupon. Pay $1.99 and get $2 back in Extra Care Bucks, making these effectively free!

FREE STARBUCKS REFRESHERS – Hopefully you printed the $1/1 coupon that was available a few weeks ago. These will be on sale 2/$3 with a $1 Extra Care Bucks reward printing when you buy two. Buy two and use two $1/1 coupons. Pay $1 and get a $1 Extra Care Bucks reward, making these effectively free!

HERE’S WHAT’S CHEAP AT CVS STARTING 6/3:
CHEAP COLGATE TOOTHPASTE – This is too expensive for toothpaste, but I’m going to list it anyways. There is a $1 Extra Care Bucks reward printing when you buy Colgate Total Toothpaste 4-4.2 oz, MaxFresh or MaxClean 6 oz or 2-in-1 4.6 oz. There is a $0.75/1 Colgate Toothpaste coupon expected in the 6/3 SS newspaper insert. Use it to pay only $1.99 for one tube and get back $1 in Extra Care Bucks. Net price is $0.99.

CHEAP BIC RAZORS – Again, this price is a little high in my opinion. Bic Soleil Savvy, Comfort, Hybrid and Flex Disposable Razors will be on sale for $7.79 with a $3 Extra Care Bucks reward printing at checkout. There were a couple of $3/1 printable coupons in the 5/6 SS newspaper insert (exp 6/3/12!) Buy one and use a $3/1 coupon to pay $4.79. Get $3 back in Extra Care Bucks for a net price of $1.79 each.

CHEAP HERSHEY’S CHOCOLATE BARS – Hershey’s Singles 1.4-2.17 oz will be on sale B2G1 FREE. We have a coupon for a FREE Hershey’s Air Delight Bar when you buy any Hershey’s Bar in the 5/20 SS newspaper insert. Buy six Hershey’s Bars (including three Hershey’s Air Delight) and use three of the newspaper coupons. You will get two free from the sale and three free from the coupons. Final price is the cost of one bar – approximately $1.19.

CHEAP MENTOS GUM – This is another price that is a little high for a stock-up deal, but not bad if you need it right now. Mentos Gum 15 ct will be on sale for 99 cents and we are expecting a $1/2 coupon in the 6/3 SS newspaper insert. Buy two and use a $1/2 coupon to pay $0.98 total (or 49 cents each!)

CHEAP BATTERIES – CVS store brand batteries will be on sale BOGO. Prices shouldn’t be too bad if you need some right now.

  1. Ok, I guess I’m a ditz as I cannot determine how to use the BOGO on the hershey choclate bars with just 2 coupons ……….do I buy 4 and pay for one and get 3 free or do I have to buy 5. Thanks.

    • You can buy four total and one will be free from the promotion and two will be free from the coupons. (Make sure two are Air Delight Bars.) You will pay for one.

Or you can buy six and two will be free from the promotion and two will be free from the coupons. (Again, make sure at least two are Air Delight Bars.) You will pay for two.

  2. Thanks!
