Last week we ended our shopping scenarios with no Extra Care Bucks at CVS and a $2 Register Reward at Walgreens. Because there aren’t a lot of good deals at CVS (other than the awesome Gas Card deals), I’m going to advise everyone to head on over to the “What’s FREE (or almost free) at CVS” post to come up with their own scenarios. If you are having any problems, post a comment explaining your situation and we’ll help.
Here’s my Walgreens scenario suggestion for the week of 7/1-7/7:
BUY TWO MITCHUM OR MITCHUM FOR WOMEN DEODORANT/ANTI-PERSPIRANT, on sale 2/$6
BUY ONE NICE! GELATIN, on sale $0.25 with in-ad coupon
Get $4 Register Rewards when you buy two Mitchum or Mitchum for Women 1.5-2.7 oz
Use two $1/1 Mitchum or Mitchum for Women coupons, 6/24 SS newspaper insert (or print here)
and use the in-ad coupon to adjust the price of the Nice! Gelatin to $0.25
and use your $2 Register Reward leftover from last week
Price at Register: $2.25, but receive $4 Register Rewards
BUY TWO HERSHEY’S SIMPLE PLEASURES, on sale 2/$6 (these will not be marked on the shelves-online bonus buy; unadvertised in stores)
BUY TWO NABISCO COOKIES OR CRACKERS 3.8-8 OZ, on sale 2/$3
BUY ONE DOZEN GRADE A LARGE EGGS, on sale $0.99
BUY THREE BUTTERBALL TURKEY BACON 6 OZ, on sale $0.99
Get $1 Register Reward when you buy two Nabisco Cookies or Crackers 3.8-8 oz
Use the $1.50/1 Hershey’s Simple Pleasures Walgreens Store Coupon, Walgreens July Coupon Book
and use two $1/1 Hershey’s Simple Pleasures printable manufacturer coupons
and use one $1/2 Nabisco Cookies or Crackers printable coupons
and use three $0.55/1 Butterball Turkey Bacon coupon, 6/24 SS newspaper insert
and use your $4 Register Reward from Transaction #1
Price at Register: $1.31, but receive $1 Register Reward
Most stores will not let you use a Register Reward on eggs (claiming they are “dairy.”) I’ve never seen a cow lay an egg, but it doesn’t matter here anyways. Your total after all coupons (including Register Rewards) is more than the cost of the eggs, so the Register Reward does not deduct from them. The eggs do, however, help you meet the rule that you can’t have more manufacturer coupons than items (since the RR you are spending counts as a manufacturer coupon.)

To find them in the easiest possible way, use our preclipped links that take you right to the coupon. Then come back and click the same link to get your 2nd print. This will save you the time spent searching for the coupon.
