Walgreens 6/6 – Paid $1.98 on $19.98 of Merchandise (90.1% Saved)

So I stopped in Walgreens today to use some of my Register Rewards to pick up a pile of newspapers. (The Tampa Bay Times and Tampa Tribune both have the Publix Breakfast Sale booklets with $5 off $30 coupons and I’m going to do a giveaway in the next day or so.) The newspapers are off-budget because they are a business expense, so they’re not included in this shopping trip. For the record, I didn’t have a coupon for them other than the RRs I used ;)

It would be a shame to waste all those newspaper “fillers” and not buy anything else with a coupon, so I picked up two Sally Hansen Wax Refill Kits that were on clearance. Here’s the summary of what I did (excluding the newspapers):

TWO SALLY HANSEN WAX REFILL KITS, on clearance $4.99 (regular price $9.99)
Used the $2/1 Sally Hansen Hair Remover Walgreens store coupon, Walgreens June Savings Coupon Booklet (deducted $4 total)
and used two $2/1 Sally Hansen Wax Kit printable manufacturer coupons (zip 33712)
NET PRICE FOR ALL: $1.98 (or 99 cents each!)

Now the only question that remains is whether to give both to Stephanie or make a Man ‘O Lantern with one of them. What is a Man ‘O Lantern? See the pic below
