I made a quick stop at Dollar General to pick up a few Wisk that are on sale. The savings rate looks a little weak because the Dollar General regular price for Wisk isn’t that awful. Also, I got a $5 off $25 coupon valid on Saturday only, but my store is unlikely to have any Wisk at that time. In fact, I grabbed the last three bottles and they said they didn’t have any left in the back.

So here’s what my transaction looked like today (short and sweet):

THREE WISK DEEP CLEAN LAUNDRY DETERGENT, on sale $4 (regular price $5)
Used three $2/1 Wisk Detergent manufacturer coupons, 6/10 RP newspaper insert
NET PRICE FOR ALL: $6 plus tax

Wisk is the only brand (other than Tide) that I would pay $2 for a small bottle. It is the preferred brand at my house.

Total Retail Value of All Merchandise: $15.00
Net Price Paid for Everything: $6.00
Savings Rate (excluding sales tax): 60%

    I think wisk is on sale at publix for 4.50 in the yellow flyer, if you work up a deal with a Winn Dixie coupon I bet u could get some for free there. I know you have mad publix skills, ha!
