My CVS trip was a total flop but since I had some coupons expiring I decided to go ahead and make a purchase anyways. My stores are running the General Mills 3/$10 instead of $1.88 each. I would have still done the deal except that none of my local stores actually carry Trix or Kix. Bummer. The Tom’s of Maine is also not in our ad. I tried price checking it and nope…not on sale. The Gold Bond powder in the travel section did not ring up BOGO 50% off. I didn’t even think about it until I was looking at my receipt to type this up. But here is what my horrible trip looks like….

The coupons for Pepsi from couponkindness say limit one coupon per day. I didn’t see it either the first time I used them.

    • I only used one of each, one Pepsi Max, one Diet Pepsi, and one Pepsi Next. I didn’t take the fine print to mean you can only use one Common Kindness coupon per day.

      • Beats me.One month ago they did not have any wording. How is Pepsi Next?

        • Beats me too. I don’t like Pepsi products but my son loves them when he is allowed to have them.

  2. Don’t ya just hate it when things don’t go as planned. But, still pretty good, especially when buying soda.

    • I do hate it. I don’t like when they run separate ads with regional differences either.

Its wierd that you had a 3/$10 cereal deal but no Toms of Maine Deal :\ mine had both. I was looking forward to the $1.88 cereal though.

    • I was completely bummed about both. I thought maybe they had missed the tag on the Toms of Maine so I price checked it and it was still over $5.
