I wasn’t really feeling this week’s CVS ad. But it is a stock up week for cereal. I was trying to figure out the best way for us to hit the gas card deal. Thank goodness I had several ECBs on hand to lower the out of pocket expense and there are probably a million other options to do in order to get the best deal but I really didn’t want to get things that we wouldn’t use just for $10 in gas.

**Note from my cashier today (not that this will work for everyone but I thought I would share). I converse quite often with a few cashiers at my favorite stores because being nice always pays off. A couple weeks ago we were talking while I was scanning my card at the Red Coupon Machine and it spit out 5-7 coupons and we were all amazed and one of those coupons included a $3 off Cottonelle. We were all very excited about this coupon but it never went on sale before the coupon expired. (I just threw the coupon away yesterday). Well, Cottonelle is on sale this week and she asked if I still had my $3 off coupon. I told her that it expired and I threw it away just yesterday. She told me not to ever throw a CVS coupon away despite the expiration date because those are rewards that I have earned and I can use those anytime, even past the expiration date. I know that this may not be the case for everyone but I just thought that I would share in case you have great cashiers like myself. Now onto what you are really here for….

At my local CVS saids they will take expired CVS coupons or ECB up to 7 days after the date on the coupon or ECB. They said it the company policy. I know a CVS in the next city close to me will not take if they are expired. Guessing it depend on the store.

OMG you are awsome I just went into my store tonight and was looking for some of the Skinny Water. I had a coupon from the machine for a BOGO. Of course they were out. So I asked if they would take it when it expires in 2 days. YES they will!!!!
    Thank you Monica
