I did the Schick deal earlier in the week at CVS but I purchased a total of $31.96 of merchandise (pre-coupons), so I only needed to buy another $18.04 to generate a second $10 Extra Bucks reward. (This offer has an advertised limit of two, but it actually looks like the limit is four. Of course, two deals is enough for me because I don’t need that many disposable razors, especially because we get deals all the time.)
Anyways, I went back into the store today to pick up some more razors, but this time the cashier deducted the full $10.50 maximum value for the coupon. (Earlier in the week, a different cashier deducted the $7.99 price of one package of razors.) I was unprepared for this and didn’t have much cash on me, so I had to buy something so I could use my $10 Extra Bucks reward to pay for the transaction. We are short on wet cat food, so I picked up four cans of Friskies even though they were full price. They still had to adjust my $10 ECB down to $9.90, but that’s not too bad. I only paid the sales tax and the register spit out another $10 ECB to replace the one I used on the transaction.

i went to CVS for the razor deal after reading your post earlier this afternoon. The manager had to help so the BOGO coupon would work. It rang up the price as $10.50. As a result, I paid only $0.75 per razor set. Yippee! Thanks for your blog!
