I stopped in Walgreens a little after midnight because I was awake and I wanted to make sure I picked up a few of the Starbucks Refreshers flavor I like, Raspberry Pomegranate. I already pitched my receipts, so I just included the sale price as its value in the savings percentage. Here’s what I bought, along with the coupons used.

Price at Register: $8.98, but received $8.99 Register Rewards
(I used an $8 RR to lower my out-of-pocket expense)
TRANSACTIONS 2 & 3 both consisted of one Starbucks Refresher and I used a FREE product coupon on each. Each transaction yielded $0.99 of Register Rewards and I only paid sales tax.

The Walgreens here in Marietta, Ga are so picky about Register Rewards.Some of them think you should only be able to do the deal once in the week. So I try to go at different times of the day so I don’t run into the same cashiers.Some Walgreen’s employees make it hard to shop there. I like the Raspberry-Pom refreshers. just so you all know, I just got 4 of the kids toothpastes for free and they were in the box. check it out at your store cause the type that Steve got were not on sale at my Wags (in Lutz)

I don’t have a good experience with Wags in NOVA. Last week I wanted to get the Multipurpose Solution along with some other items and the coupon did not print out because I was using RR to lower my out-of-pocket expenses. The manager was called to the register and basically I could not use my RR for the other items either because the RR would not print out. I still have some RR saved and all these Starbucks coupons so I am going to go there one more, and most likely, last time to get rid of them
Are you not normally allowed to roll rr with the same product? The lady told me the first time I bought the kotex that if I used the rr to pay for it then it wouldnt print another rr out. But it did work.
You are not supposed to be able to roll with the same product, but sometimes they code the deals wrong and you can. I personally don’t do it because I don’t want to do a transaction and find out that they fixed it because a RR doesn’t print.
Oh I did it last week but didn’t do it this week.
None of the Walgreens on the North Side of Lakeland have any Starbucks refreshers. I checked 4 this morning. Its worth mentioning that the $.99 Reach Floss deal is running until 5/26/12, so free floss with your free refreshers if you still have any q’s left.
You can also get the Reach floss @ Walmart for $0.97.

Got the Orange Melon Starbucks Refreshers today. Yuck. Or, I suppose it can be an acquired taste, but I will not be acquiring it after my second can is gone. That was the only flavor available. I’ll try a different store and different flavor later in the week to use up the other two Free coupons. I totally forgot about the Aquafresh toothpaste sale. Next time…
