We had a great day at CVS today. It was great to finally have so many stock-up deals in the same week. It seems like I’ve been buying junk to squeeze out a little profit for a few weeks now, so it was nice to actually buy stuff I wanted this week! We did a total of three transactions today. Here is the list of items bought and coupons used:

and used six $1/1 Glaxo Smith Kline Oral Care CVS printable store coupons (these had to be put in manually)

I’m not sure I understand the suave bogo coupon. It says buy 2 get one free, not buy one get one. Please explain!
Are you sure you are not looking at the Body Wash coupon. It is B2G1 free in my insert, but the lotion coupons are BOGO.
Yes, I am looking at the coupon. It says “buy two (2) suave body lotion products and get one(1) free”. I’m so confused.
There must be regional differences on that coupon too. (I only got a $0.25/1 Suave Deodorant coupon, even though some areas got $0.50/1.)

Well, it’s not going to be as good with the lower value coupons and it will be a little messy. You could buy three lotions for $9 total and use a B2G1 coupon to take off $3. Maybe buy two Suave Deodorants too in the same transaction (since there’s probably a two coupon per transaction limit) and use two $0.25/1 or $0.50/1 coupons (depending on which value you got.) Pay $7 or $7.50 (depending on your deodorant coupon value.)
Then do another transaction with one Suave Deodorant and use a $0.25/1 or $0.50/1 coupon. Pay $0.50-$0.75 and get your $4 ECB.
Another simpler option is to buy three lotion ($3 each) and three body wash ($1.50 each.) Total before coupons is $13.50. Use a B2G1 Lotion and a B2G1 Body Wash (the two coupons will take a combined $4.50 off.) Pay $9 and get back $4 ECBs. Net price is $5 (or 83 cents per item.)
Personally, I think both deals are a little pricey for Suave products, but they are decent deals if you need these items now.
Total paid is $7.50-$8.25 minus the $4 ECB earned. The real cost to you is $3.50-$4.25 for all six items (or 70-85 cents each.)
Can I play dumb…what do you mean by a two coupon per transaction limit? Why would you have to have it? Are there other two coupons per trans limit?
Did they only have 1 Salonpas left? Is that the reason for only getting 1? Just curious since both of you were working your magic today!!
We didn’t really feel like we needed the Salonpas. It just fit in well with the ECBs we were trying to use. I pass on some free items; for example, I didn’t want the Sheets product at Walgreens today.
Thanks, I was just curious. Also, just a note. I found the 3ct Colgate toothbrushes in the trial section for $2.99. They did not generate an ECB but the cashier happily forced one (well 2 since there was a limit of 2 and I bought 2) since it fit the description.
Cool. That’s what I thought would happen. I was looking with the regular toothbrushes and couldn’t find them. BTW did they ring up BOGO 50% off too since they were in the travel/trial area?
Same thing happened to me, thw cashier forced the ecb. Also, I got 4 free ocean spray. They didn’t even care about the fact that ut said cherry flavor.
I am actually going through my receipt right now and noticed that YES the second did ring up 50% off and I didn’t even realize it in the store. I actually came back to tell you so you can make sure you have Stephanie get the deal. Have a great time on vacation.

Thanks for letting me know. If I wake up early I may go for a little bike ride to make up for the extra calories I will be eating at JFK airport on my layover. If so, I may stop in CVS and do the deal myself since my cashiers have no problems force printing for me if the deal matches the words in the ad.
If the tooth brushes are bogo, does it mean they have to print the ecb twice?
Thavy, because the ad says you get a $3 ECB for each item with a limit of 2 they should force print them twice. My store had no problems with it since everything matched the wording.

In order to get the $3.00 for $10 in groceries -(3 Hellmmanns)
Do you have to do Trans #2 and Trans#3 back to back in order for the system to recognize/remember that you had already purchased 2 on Trans#2?
No, you can complete the two transactions separately and non-consecutively, so long as you buy all three Hellmann’s between today and Saturday 5/26.

i have been to 4 CVS to stock up on the suaze lotion deals… no luck yet, does anyone know if they restock their stores before the sale is over? still on the hunt for Good n natural bar freebies,,,,i live in the kissimmee area but travel to orlando area a few times a week… help!!!!!
