My savings rate is a little lower than usual because I bought some supplies for the web site at Walgreens today. As you all know, we have quite a few giveaways; when I saw the Scotch mailers for only 39 cents, I decided to buy quite a few so I have them to send your prizes

So I just left my local Walgreens and must say I’m not pleased. I was trying to purchase the Belvita breakfast biscuit for my workplace. It is advertised as 2/$6 or $3.29 single price. I was buying 5 boxes totaling $15.29 I used (5) $1/1 & 1 $5RR my total due was $5.29 plus tax…no RR prints out. I waited for over 30mins while the manager says he has to research if I was allowed to use coupons and get back a RR. When he returned he said there is nothing he could do and nothing I can do to get the RR sent to me. I was in awe. I just kindly asked for a refund and all my coupons and RR back and left the store. I feel sorry for my co-workers they really love those Belvitas. I really felt like the manager was like oh well either buy it or don’t so I didn’t. Hopefully no one else experience any problems wither the Kraft/Nabisco advertisement at Walgreens
In the future, if a deal is in the weekly ad and it doesn’t print, go ahead and make your purchase but keep the receipt. Then call Catalina Marketing at 1-888-8COUPON and they will sort everything out and send you a Register Reward by mail.
My only concern is if you paid with a Register Reward earned on the same exact offer. If the $5 RR was from last week’s Psoriasin deal, then the RR should print; however, if you did the belVita RR deal earlier (even if you bought non-belVita products) and paid with the $5 RR, then the system will not print another RR because it thinks you’ve exceeded the limit of one offer per customer.
I am headed out to Walgreens for my morning walk..combining a little coupon-ing and exercise =) Just wondering if the Kotex and Depends RR are still rolling? I am starting with a $3. Kotex RR using it to buy Depends and one filler to get a $3.50 RR from the depends and planning on rolling that back to the Kotex to receive another $3. RR and so on… I am hoping to do 6 transactions this morning but we will see… Has this worked for anyone this week…any ideas, anyone? Thanks!
