Again, this trip was actually a better deal than it looks since I do not include the gas card in the calculations. If you consider that the gas was going to be bought anyways, it was actually a slight moneymaker trip.
I was happy to pick up some healthy foods. I even went out of my way to pick some of the lower calorie Birds Eye meals. The Milk Bites aren’t really healthy, but there are worse snacks I could have around the house. At least the bars are small and the calorie count isn’t that bad.
Anyways, here’s what I bought and the coupons used:
TWO SILK ALMONDMILK HALF GALLONS, on sale $2.50 (regular price $3.49)
Used two $0.75/1 Silk Quart, Half Gallon or Single-Serve 4-pack printable
NET PRICE FOR ALL: $3.50 (or $1.75 each!)
FOUR GOLD PEAK TEA, on sale $1 (regular price $1.29)
Used four $0.75/1 Gold Peak Tea printables (zip 33712)

ONE JENNIE-O TURKEY BURGERS 32 OZ., on sale $7.99 (regular price $9.29)
Used one $2/1 Jennie-O Turkey Burgers printable (zip 33712)

TWO KRAFT MILK BITES BARS, regular price $2.99
Used one BOGO Kraft Milk Bites Publix “Cooking with Kraft” store coupon
and used two $0.75/1 Milk Bites printable manufacturer coupon (zip 33712)
NET PRICE FOR ALL: $1.49 (or 74 cents each!)
TWO BIRDS EYE VOILA! MEALS, on sale BOGO $4.83
Used two $2/1 Birds Eye Voila! printable coupons
NET PRICE FOR ALL: $0.83 (or 41 cents each!)
ONE ALEXIA SWEET POTATO FRIES, on sale $3 (regular price $3.79)
Used one $0.75/1 Alexia Frozen Item, PUBLIX COUPON Publix Booklet, Freshen Up Your Menu
and used one $1/1 Alexia Sweet Potato manufacturer coupon (zip 33712)
NET PRICE: $1.25
I also used a $5 off $30 Publix Spring Cleaning Booklet coupon.
Total Retail Value of All Items: $40.86
Special Price Savings (Sales/BOGOs): $10.06
Coupon Savings (Store/Manufacturer): $21.74
Net Price Paid: $9.06 (plus 28 cents tax)
Savings Rate (excluding tax): 77.8%
But if you factor in the $10 profit on the gas card, the net price paid is actually over 100%, as I paid less than $50 for the total transaction which includes the $50 gas card.

Do you have Whole Foods Market in your area?
I do not. The closest one is probably 40 minutes away from my house. Naomi has one near her.
There is a Whole Foods $1 coupon for Alexia potatoes. Stack it with MQ for additional savings

On the Publix ad online you can print out a coupon for the Alexia french fries. Also my publix wouldn’t allow me to combine the Sweetbay 10/50 with the publix 5/30. I’ve never had this problem before. Did publix change their policy?
You are allowed to use both coupons, but your total purchase meet all the requirements; specifically, you must have $80 in purchases before coupons. Also, some (but not all) stores may construe coupons as discounts; if so, your total must also be higher than $40 at the end of the transaction, because the Sweetbay coupon requires that your total be $50 after all other discounts are applied. (Some Publix stores only consider sales and BOGO promotions to be discounts; they consider coupons to be tender. If that is your store’s reading of the coupon, then only the $80 purchase requirement applies.)
I had this same problem at my Trinity, FL location. If I didn’t have a long line behind me, I would have argued with the manager, or have done two transactions.
Thanks so much for putting the deals together. Ran into Publix today, OOP .63 + .91 tx = 1.54. Saved 59.48 97% Bought 4 Breakfast on the Go,(BOGO raincheck)-(4)$1/1, 2 Milk Bites-(2)BOGO PQ + (2) $1/1, 3 Smithfield ham steaks (3) $2/1, 2 Kraft cheese (50% off)$1/1, 2 Allegra 5 ct – (2) $7/1, 10 Carefree (10) $2/1 PQ.
I thought the Allegra coupons expired on April 8th. The coupon also says limit 1 per customer. Does your Publix take expired coupons? I would have loved to use that with my gas card.
I don’t know about two per transaction; she probably should not have been allowed to do that. But perhaps she had a raincheck and that allowed her to use the expired coupons?
where did you get the alexia coupon online?
Sorry for the delay to getting back to you on this. Go here: http://www.couponaholic.net/coupons1 (That is my affiliate link to coupons.com) Then you should be able to see it in the “Foods” category. If you do not see it there, switch to zip code 33712 (under the coupons.com logo) and then try to find it again.
Yesterday I was able to finally find the pantiliners to use with the $2.00 off coupon. Super excited and got 10 with my other groceries. Today I went to another Publix because I wanted to get some Nathan’s hot dogs (the other store was out) and they had a bunch also, but at this store they told me during the checkout that corporate told them not to accept the coupon on the pantiliners unless they were the 60 count. I tried to explain that they needed to honor the coupon, but she said they wouldn’t do it. Have you heard of Publix Corporate changing their policy?
No, I have not heard that. I would contact Publix corporate either by Facebook, email or phone and ask them why the store is not honoring the words on the coupon. Tell them exactly what you were trying to buy and also tell them the exact words on the coupon(s).
I think the store just made that up.
