  1. Yay!!! I’m on it! Thanks!

  2. Steve,
I have never shopped @ Winn-Dixie. When a BOGO item is on sale, can you use a coupon for each item like at Publix ? Tried looking up “coupon policy ” and nothing explains a BOGO item. Thanks

    • You should be ok, but Winn-Dixie does not have a corporate policy. Coupon policies vary by store, based on the competitive environment where each store operates.

  3. Hey Steve, I read at another site that these cost $4.99 at Winn-dixie and the coupon has a max value of $3.99 so they might not be free =( I hope they cost $3.99 or less at my store =P

  4. it only let me print one. went back and now says print limit reached.. hmmm

  5. If you’re gonna go to WD to get this, I also saw that they have Beneful baked delights dog treats BOGO and there was a BOGO manufacturer’s coupon in the 3/18 SS :)

Do you see any other deals also? I’m going as well?

      • Nothing else caught my eye…

      • I bought 2 Stayfree Ultra thin pads with wings (32 ct) on sale for $ 3.99 from $6.49 plus there was a peelie on the package for a $5 MIR on 2. I used 2 x $1 MQ, so after MIR it is $0.50 each :)

Went this morning to Winn Dixie and got my free wipes and free dog treats and a few others things. Haven’t really shopped Winn Dixie before. They were very nice – they let me separate my transactions into two so that I could use two $5/$30 coupons. I have to say they did not have a huge amount of wipes or dog treats for that matter. Seemed very coupon friendly and the fuel perks seems like it will work nicely with the gas cards I got at Publix.

Steve – Have you tried shopping Winn Dixie for the fuel perks? Do you think it’s worth any time to hit some of their sales?

    • I rarely go to Winn-Dixie, although there are occasionally some good deals. The Fuel Perks can be ok if the sale and coupon is good.

To determine if a Fuel Perks deal is good enough, do this.

First, determine how many gallons you usually put in your tank. For example, if you typically put in 14 gallons, then 5 cents of Fuel Perks is worth 70 cents to you (14*5)

Then when you see a deal like this:
Product XYZ, 2/$6 plus 5 cents Fuel Perks when you buy two

Your real price for two is $6 minus 70 cents ($5.30 total or $2.65 each.)

If that amount (minus any coupons you have) is a good price, then it’s worth doing. Although I often see an item or two worth grabbing at W-D, I usually pass on going there. It would be different if I could knock out more shopping in one stop.

I agree Steve…I do buy their meats on sale at BOGO and some produce as well as sales with coupon. But, with that being said, everything else seems to be higher in price. I go once maybe twice a month.

      • I just left my local WD…and no one was in the store. All of the BOGO wipes were gone, I paid for them and got one and a raincheck for the remaining, using my Q’s…wild way to do business…hope they are open in the coming days when I return to claim my wipes…lol….store was empty….Publix across the street was jammed.

  7. I’m confused as to the math on this. How are they all free? Don’t you have to at least buy 2 of them?

    • Let’s say you have two coupons. Buy four. Two ring up full price, two ring up free. Use two BOGO coupons to cover the four items purchased, making two more free. Therefore, all are free.

      • Thanks for the reply. I’m really new at this. and I’m still confused :( I could see how that would get you poss 3 for free but u still don’t get how they are all free. sorry for all the confusion.

  8. MaryLynn P says:

Thanks for the tip I got 6! I left 3 there was not a lot of stock. Will try another WD to get the others!

  9. I had a bad experince with one of my trips this am. The manager told me that I could not use 2 coupons for bogo nor could I use my bogo coupon on a bogo item . They didnt even try to scan my coupons.

  10. I got four of them without any problems! Thanks for the post! :)

  11. I just did this and it worked? Amazing, I just thought all BOGO’s were created equal. Now I know where to shop for future BOGO’s…WD rocks. Thanks for the school’n. Oh Master of all things Coupon related, too hard for me to figura on my own. Thanks Steve.

  12. As others have said coupon policies at Winn DIxie vary by store and you should have your cashier scan your rewards card after your coupons to prevent any problems. In my area the only real competition for Winn Dixie is Wal-mart. :-( However our Winn Dixie is very coupon friendly. Cashiers don’t even read the coupons unless the register beeps and then usually push them on through without any problems. Compared to our local Wal-mart were the cashiers study the coupons as if it were a crossword puzzle and if the register beeps it almost requires a call to the White House for approval. Would love to have a Publix though.

  13. Anna Jarvis says:

I went to WD for the first time yesterday and the shelves were empty. :( no wipes in the store at all. I asked for a rain check for 6 bogo’s totalling 12 of ther. They did it with manager approval. They actually said they would order them for me and asked what flavor i wanted. They were very nice, however when i looked at the rein check it says 12 at 2.50 each. Does this mean that when i go and try to purchase them they will be 2.50 each and not the BOGO?

    • If that’s what they wrote on your rain check, then that’s how they will ring them up :(

      • And that means they will be $1.25 each after coupons. I wouldn’t do that deal, considering the comments this product has received on the site.
