Today was a very good day for us at Walgreens. We didn’t have a super variety of products, but Stephanie is a HUGE fan of Got2B products and it never hurts to have some Tylenol Precise around. We bought the Just for Men for the rebate. (Even if my hair was gray, there is very little to color these days.)

I added the St. Joseph’s Aspirin freebie into the mix to keep my register price as high as the rebate I am submitting. I bet it doesn’t really matter, but I didn’t want to rub their noses in the fact that I paid less than the check they will be sending me ;)

Also, I know some of you have had trouble doing the Got2B deal. I have a practice that often helps keep cashiers “on my side” when there are beeps on the horizon. I tell them beforehand why the coupon will beep and what they need to do to help everything go smoother. This tends to work out well for me, although I am aware that many of you have stores that are a real pain in the you know what.

  1. Where are they a real pain???…………lol……..Juuuuussst kiddddiiiiing!!!! lol

  2. Is it still bogo for the Got2b or did you use a raincheck? My ad didn’t show it was bogo.

    • It is a monthly deal. The BOGO continues through 2/25, even though it isn’t in the ad. If the tags aren’t on the shelves, have them ring two up for you and you should see it.

  3. Ok, thanks so much!

  4. Where can i find this coupon? I can only find it for $2/1

  5. Thanks for the tip on Got2B coupons. I bought 4 products and my daughter bought 4. When my 4th styler rang up, beep beep beep, but the cashier didn’t know what to do, and I wasn’t 100% sure. So she just rang up my coupon for $2. Rats! I didn’t complain, but by the end of the 2nd transaction for my daughter, I suggested nicely that b/c the prices were a couple cents below the amount of the coupons, she could try to manually bring the coupon down to the price of the item. So she entered $2.95 ($2.98 would have been the correct amount to deduct, right Steve?) But $2.95 was close enough for me, and a vast improvement over our first transaction. I am learning how to shop Wags thanks to you Steve. Any further explanation of common coupon beeps, why they happen & what to do would be welcome. I’m also going to re-read your “Intro to Walgreens”. And again, thank you so much.

    • I haven’t read the Into to Walgreens in a while and I bet I’ve learned a lot since I wrote it. Yet another thing for the to-do list.

      Glad your trip went well!

  6. I know it is Wags policy to adjust the coupon but are they getting the full face value of the coupon from the manufacture?

Click it! I thought of you and your roomie at Walgreens when I seen this..haha jk..maybe

  8. Hi Steve,

I was at Walgreen last night and bought 2 Right Guard Body Wash on clearance for $ 2.29/each. I used $3/2 Right Guard coupon that just printed out a few days ago, and surprisingly I also got $2 Register Reward, making them Money maker. The Register Reward said that it is from Dial, I guess it related to Right Guard somehow because I also bought 2 Got2B in the same transaction

  9. Hi Steve, you are welcomed, I just post a photo of these body wash on your page :)
