  3. Juliegirl says:

  4. laura says:

  5. bonnie w says:

  6. Milissa says:

Yay:) I got my cereal too:) After my checkout, I witnessed one of the *crazy coupon* ladies of Tampa. My cashier was super depressed she had to check her out. Her transaction started off bad because she started fighting about using more than one of the $ off coupons.

Anyway, I walked around the cereal isle and gave $5/5 coupons to people that did not have the coupon and were using $1/3 coupons. I hope I made their day!

I just ate everything at the state fair and I’m gonna hurl for the night! Hope there aren’t any good coupon deals for the rest of the day:)

    • steve says:

Awesome! You should be ok on coupon deals for the day. I’m starting to write up the CVS and Wags stuff for tomorrow and it’s not terribly exciting.

  7. Lesa says:

It was a great day at Publix. 35 boxes of Kelloggs cereal donated to my local Ronald McDonald House.

    • steve says:

      Excellent!

    • Melissa says:

Wow! My store had a limit of 10 boxes. 5 for my house, 5 for the church food pantry. But BONUS, the Raisin Bran had an additional $5 in coupons inside each box! (my Hubby says ” boy its a vicious cycle!”

  8. Does anyone know if you can use the raisin Bran cinnamon almond for the gas rebate($10), or does it have to be just plain raisin bran.

  9. Julie says:

You made the same mistake I did, I think. I used the $5/5 coupon on the Smorz but read on another website later that it is for 10 oz. and more. The Smorz are like 9.25 oz.

  10. Bernie says:

Got 5 boxes, used the 5/5 coupon and a $1/2 Target coupon. Also, got an awesome deal on Progresso soup. Used two Publix $1/4 and two MQ, $1/4 that I printed off a spanish site so the coupons were partially in spanish but no problem. Paid approx $5 for 8 cans.

  11. Coupon Grandmommy says:

    Okay, People. Steve, Milissa, anybody?
I need a little help here. Went to Publix this morning and was limited to 5 boxes of Kelloggs cereal. So this is what I did.

    Bought:
    (4) boxes of special k cereal and (1) box of cinnamon mini wheats
Coupon used: (1) $5/5 ip man q any kelloggs cereal
    (2) 24ct cases of publix water
    Coupon used: (2) $3/1 24pk publix water wyb 2 special k products – Publix yellow adv q
    (2) special k protein bars
Coupon used: (2) Free special k protein item wyb 2 special k cereal – peelie on box of special k cereal
Checked out with a customer service rep. and all coupons scanned with absolutely no problems.

    THEN:
Returned this evening to purchase the other half of my scenario similar to above and added in a $1/2 target q for 2 cinnamon mini wheats(my publix takes target q’s). Used the correct number of items and coupons for 2 special k, 3 mini wheats, 1 protein bar, and 1 cs of water.
Again checked out with a customer service rep. (this usually makes my life a lot easier) however she and the assistant store manager that she called over, informed me:
“The coupon for the free protein items and the coupon for the $3 off water coupon attaches to that item and the wyb cereal items, therefore Kelloggs would not allow them to take the $5/5 cereal ip man q on the 5 boxes of the cereal because that would be ‘DOUBLE’ stacking the coupons.”
Of course, I stood there dumbfounded and finally said ‘do what?’
I calmly tried to explain that I can use coupons for the wyb items because the get free coupon only applies to the get free item or the $3 off water item. How can a ‘get an item free’ coupon attach to the free item AND the wyb items? If that is how it reads? that should mean that I get the 2 cereal and the 1 protein bar all for free. If the ‘free’ coupon attached to the cereal, then the $5/5 man q would not have scanned, but it did.
Non of the coupons in question had any restrictions. Non said the wording tipical for wyb item 1 AND item 2 that attaches to both items, for example: $2 off 1 bag of chips AND 1 jar of salsa.
Needless to say, I will have to wait until Monday to call Kelloggs for something in writing. In the mean time, do you know of any changes? If I had been trying to pull one over on the store, I would not have purposely chosen the checkout lane with a customer service rep as the checker. I would have gone 2 lanes down and used slow as molasses joe.

    • Kim says:

I’ve had the same thing happen with the totino’s pizza. Had get one pizza free when u buy 4 mq and a $1/4 mq. So I had 5 pizzas….expecting the 5th pizza to be free and get $1 off the other 4 pizzas. The girl said I could use one or the other but not both. I explained my thoughts about the use of the coupons but the manager also said the free pizza coupon applied to the 4 pizzas, so I could only use one or the other. I actually started to think they could be right….lol. I read those 2 coupons over and over again, and I am sure we are thinking the right way.

    • Steve2 says:

I have researched this same issue in depth with Publix management and even the marketing departments of several manufacturers. I am afraid that your Publix store management is correct to not allow the use of both manufacturer coupons. However, if one of the two coupons was a store coupon (i.e., buy something and get $’s off Publix bakery or produce products) then you could use both coupons. Stores that allow both manufacturer coupons to be used are making a mistake.

  12. Patricia S. says:

Don’t know where to post this, but If you still have the $5 off of Nature Made vitamin printable coupon, you can stack with the target $1 off printable coupon and take it to publix for a $3 money maker on the Folic Acid. They are on sale for 2.94!!! I was lucky to find this deal this morning!

  13. Steve2 says:

Anybody have any suggestions on the best way to remove the upc codes from all of these boxes of cereal for submission with the rebate form?
