New Country Crock Spread printable coupon = FREE Pumpkin Spread (if your Walmart store still carries it)

Let me preface this post by mentioning that this may be a seasonal product and your store might not be carrying this product right now. At least we are not in June or July, so there’s still a pretty good chance you may find it.

Earlier today I wrote about a $1/1 County Crock Spread printable coupon (use zip 90210). The coupon has no size restrictions, but it excludes honey and cinnamon flavored spreads.) Well, Walmart carries a pumpkin flavored Country Crock spread, and the small tubs are only 98 cents (if you can find them!)

Here’s what the deal looks like:

BUY ONE COUNTRY CROCK PUMPKIN SPREAD 6 OZ., regular price $0.98
Use one $1/1 Country Crock Spread printable coupon (zip 90210)
NET PRICE: FREE + $0.02 OVERAGE!

Even if Walmart doesn’t carry this product, this coupon is going to give you a fantastic deal with a sale elsewhere. I avoid Walmart most of the time, so I probably won’t be able to tell you if my store carries this.

Thanks to Coupon Katarina for the deal idea, and thanks to Centsable Shoppin for the photo.

I forgot to ask you something that’s been on my mind now for a few weeks. Whenever my husband tries to use the “NEW KIND” of coupons that are “missing part of the barcode,” the coupon doesn’t scan. The first time he used it the cashier just entered the coupon amount with the key “coupon” so it was deducted. However, without realizing what was going on, he shopped again, and this time checked out of the self checkout….and the coupons wouldn’t scan. Cashier came over and tried to scan, then she called the manager, she tried to scan it and Refused to take them because she said the coupons HAD to scan in order for them to accept them!! Needless to say, he left everything!

This isn’t the first place he’s been told that since the coupon wouldn’t scan, and they wouldn’t take it! Has anyone had this happen with the new coupon format? How do you get the store to accept the coupons if they don’t scan?

      Which store? Walmart?

If so, I don’t have a lot of experience shopping there and can’t tell you for sure. I do know that their coupon policy requires that a coupon be “scannable,” but IMO a coupon can be scannable, but fail to scan.
