CONFIRMED: $2 Breathe Right Moneymaker & Speed Stick only 25 cents each at Walgreens!

I stayed up late so I could test out two deals I had been eyeing for the past few days. Now I can confirm that the Breathe Right moneymaker works if you do the manufacturer coupon first, plus the Speed Stick will cost you less than everybody thought! Instead of $1 each after the BOGO coupon, the Speed Stick deodorants will only set you back 51 cents for two…that’s only one quarter each! Just make sure you remember that your manufacturer coupons must be scanned first for these deals to work. Also, if your cashier is hostile to coupons, I doubt they will let you do the store coupon on the Breathe Right after making it free with a manufacturer coupon. Clearly your mileage will vary.

My transaction this morning looked like this:

BUY TWO SPEED STICK DEODORANTS, regular price $3.49
BUY ONE BREATHE RIGHT STRIPS 10 CT., regular price $6.49
BUY ONE ST. JOSEPH’S ASPIRIN, on sale $2.00
DONATE $1 TO CANCER RESEARCH
Used one BOGO Speed Stick Deodorant manufacturer coupon, 1/29 SS newspaper insert (deducted $3.49)
Used one FREE Breathe Right Strips manufacturer coupon, Walgreens Catalina Coupon (deducted $6.49)
Used the in-ad coupon for Speed Stick 2/$4 (deducted $2.98)
Used the Walgreens February Coupon Booklet store coupon for $2/1 Breathe Right 10 ct. (deducted $2.00)
PRICE AT REGISTER: $1.51 plus tax, but received a $2 Register Reward for St. Joseph’s Aspirin
NET PRICE FOR ALL: $0.49 MONEYMAKER (REALLY $1.49 SINCE $1 WAS A DONATION!)

Here’s an ideal scenario for the Breathe Right…
Buy one Breathe Right and one St. Joseph’s Aspirin. Use the FREE Breathe Right manufacturer couponĀ and the Walgreens February Coupon Booklet Breathe Right coupon. Pay $0.00 plus tax and get a $2 Register Reward for St. Joseph’s. $2 MONEYMAKER!

And here’s what the Speed Stick deal looks like all by itself…
Buy two Speed Stick deodorants for $3.49 each. Then use the BOGO manufacturer coupon from the 1/29 newspaper (deducts $3.49.) Then use the in-ad coupon for Speed Stick 2/$4 (it will deduct $2.98.) Final price is 51 cents plus tax (25 cents each!)

And now I just realized that I forgot to put the Breathe Right Strips in the picture. At least you can see them on the receipt ;)

    Hi Steve,

First off, thanks for the work you do on this site! I went to Walgreens with those breathe right catalinas after Publix turned me down. I ended up getting 4 speed stick deodorants, 4 cans of pringles, 1 blink eye drops and one st. Joseph aspirin for $2.49 total out of pocket and $12 back in register rewards! (Yes I used coupons and register rewards to get that total so low)
AND I think this purchase qualifies for the $5 mail-in rebate you mentioned from yesterday’s paper!

    Thanks again!

Fantastic! I think the Breathe Right deal is going to be “hit and miss” at Publix. I’m going to try it when the new ad starts on Thursday.

I know at my local walgreens, as long as the coupons don’t take the total below $0.00, they will let you use any coupon combo (no more than 1MFR and 1Store per item of course)…. so for instance if you wouldn’t have bought the St. Joseph’s aspirin, if you deduct everything else it’s
-1.49 (which my walgreens won’t adjust the register to $0.00 — so if I find that I’m going to have an overage on a transaction I have to find another item to balance it out, which in your case the aspirin is perfect)

      Hope this makes sense.
